In Honor of My Dad.

Welcome to a hop I decided to do in honor of my Dad's Birthday. Today he would of been 62 yrs old. He passed away almost 2 yrs ago. It still hurts not having him here so that's why I want to keep his birthday going so his memories will stay alive. Thank you ladies for joining me. I have a couple sponsors that are GREAT. I finally got my blog to work thanks to a friend.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY! I LOVE & MISS YA!
I did something real simple that's how he liked things. I used his favorite color & flower. I embossed the card with the roses/flower folder, I glimmer mist it to get a different look didn't want a patterned paper. I used twine to wrap around a lil. a simple rub on & of course I used jess' stamp set. make sure ya stop by her blog & see her stamps. they are great.

I also glimmer mist it, stamped roses, added red twine, I actually thought I could use the bread tag which I just stamped on it & hung it on the twine. Once again I used jess' stamp set & at the bottom I stamped "father" & "grandpa" & tucked them behind the twine. I will add his picture to the tag.

I am so sad that I didn't get to participate in this hop that holds so much meaning for me too. If you do another one, please look me up as I'd really love to participate. My dad died almost 8 years ago, when I was 24. He had cancer and it was horrible. I miss him dearly and would love to do something to honor him. This is a beautiful way to do it. TFS and for doing such a lovely hop.
